Andrew has danced all of his life. He was lucky to be involved in the chorus line of Chicago when he was younger. He had a break from dance, to start his family and was lucky enough to be blessed with three beautiful daughters. Having never lost the dancing spirit, he was determined to reconnect with his passion. He went on to study multiple styles of dance. These included hip-hop and ballroom. Eventually he found Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba and knew this was where his passion lay. He has spent over 8 years teaching salsa.
Jacqui has always had a love of movement. She was a gymnast in her younger years. After a car accident she was forced to reassess her options. After many years, on a whim she tried salsa. Instantly fell in love and has pursued her passion ever since. The freedom she found on the dancefloor was euphoric. Jacqui continues to pursue herself on the dancefloor. Always pushing to be better. You never stop learning!
We started dancing together in 2014 and from the first dance we knew we were connected. We had to teach together. So we slowly started to build our knowledge. We have been lucky enough to be taught Cuban salsa from true Cuban nationals. We have practiced and are still training internationally including Budapest, Italy and Paris. We continue to build our knowledge base. We have had the privilege to(and continue to do so) work with the best of the best.
